The Applied Art Department focuses on the practical application of artistic skills to commercial and communication design. It blends creativity with industry-relevant tools and techniques, preparing students for careers in advertising, branding, publishing, media, and digital design.

Core Objectives:

  • Develop strong visual communication and design fundamentals.

  • Learn to convey ideas through imagery, typography, and layout.

  • Master industry-standard tools for both print and digital media.

  • Understand audience perception, branding strategies, and market trends.

  • Build a professional portfolio showcasing diverse applied art projects.

  • Advertising Design – Creating campaign visuals, posters, and brand identities.

  • Typography – Study of typefaces, font design, and layout for effective communication.

  • Illustration – Hand-drawn and digital illustrations for books, editorials, and advertising.

  • Graphic Design – Use of visual elements to design logos, packaging, web content, and more.

  • Photography and Image Editing – Visual storytelling and photo manipulation.

  • Print Production – Learning processes like offset, screen, and digital printing.

  • Digital Media Design – Motion graphics, animation, and interactive media.
